Description
Older adults, particularly patients with dementia, often do not present with disease in the same way a younger adult would. This is also true for neuropsychiatric diseases. This session will focus on the presentation and treatment of common neuropsychiatric disease states in older adults. We will also be discussing ways facilities can help ensure the psychoactive medications used to treat this issues are safe and effective.
